The commencement of profile creation for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) registration exercise has been officially announced by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
In an announcement made on Sunday, JAMB stated that prospective candidates can now initiate the creation of their profiles on the JAMB website.
The sale of application documents will officially commence on Monday, January 15th, 2024. Candidates have a six-week window, until Monday, February 26th, to complete their registration. JAMB also mentioned that the registration fee for the 2024 UTME will vary depending on the candidate’s choice to participate in the optional mock exam.
Candidates opting for the mock exam will be required to pay N7,700, while those who choose not to participate will pay N6,200. It was also specified that the sale of application documents for foreign candidates will be priced at $30.
JAMB has announced the registration dates for Direct Entry applicants, which will begin on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, and end on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
Additionally, the 2024 UTME mock examination is scheduled for Thursday, March 7, 2024, providing students an opportunity to assess their readiness and identify areas for improvement before the actual exam.
Candidates will be able to print their examination slips starting on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. The main UTME will span ten days, from Friday, April 19th to Monday, April 29th, 2024.
